Blog post.

March has been… well, March. Kind of like the weather. You know the type: a mix of chaos, small victories, and a few moments that make you question whether caffeine is a legitimate life source. Okay, so maybe there's no caffeine in the sky, but every time that ball of fire makes an appearance, it has the same effect.

On the personal front, I’ve been navigating the wonderful joys of menopause. Let’s just say it’s been equal parts “what is happening to my body?” and “why is everything exhausting all the time?” but I’m surviving, just, and trying to laugh along the way.

Work-wise, I’ve been giving Mark of Amara and Wrath of Amara a fresh coat of polish. Updating the covers and tweaking formatting has been a satisfying way to make these stories feel brand-new again, even if I may have spent more time obsessing over tiny details than is probably healthy for an author who should be working on her next project.

And then there’s Nyx, our four month old German Shepherd puppy. She’s adorable, she's intelligent...although common sense seems to be lacking slightly, and I am definitely not a tasty snack—at least, that’s what I keep telling the tiny landshark. We’re slowly finding our groove and establishing a home dynamic, which mostly involves me negotiating peace treaties with the ever growing menace.

All in all, March has been messy, a little exhausting, but full of small wins. Here’s to taking what comes and making it work: one dog hair, menopausal hot flash, and book update at a time.

Thanks for following along with my adventures, both on and off the page.

I can't ait to see what April has in store for me and the Tower Has Fallen

Update post.

I wanted to share a little update on what I’m currently working on…

The Tower Has Fallen is now sitting at 54,000 words, and I’m deep in the thick of it. This story has completely taken over in the best way, and it’s quickly becoming something I’m incredibly proud of.

Even more exciting, it’s already been in the hands of my alpha readers, and the feedback so far has been amazing. Seeing their reactions, theories, and emotional responses as the story unfolds has only made me more excited to keep pushing forward.

There’s still a lot more to come, but I can honestly say this one is shaping up to be something special.

Thank you, as always, for being here and supporting my stories. It means more than you know.

Don't forget that ARC sign up closes on the 1st May 2026. So follow the links to get your hands on a copy before everyone else.
